The one-week LandArt courses take place in the Natural Park of the Cork Oak Forests (Parque Natural de los Alcornocales) in the province of Cádiz, southern Andalusia.
The starting point is Castellar de la Frontera, a medieval castle village above a reservoir, embedded in evergreen forests and views of an uninhabited and exceptionally beautiful mountains.
The nature park, with an area of 1700 square kilometers, has the world's largest contiguous cork oak forest. Since it was only cultivated extensively, its originality in terms of flora and fauna has been preserved. It is home to a large number of plants and animals as well as some relic species from the Tertiary. Numerous rivers, streams and rock formations give the area a diverse landscape.
