REISE: Kunst und Meeresrauschen, Oktober 2022

Liebe Diana,

Valerija

LandArt week in Castellar in September 2016

The special thing about this holiday begins with the accommodation in the castle village of Castellar. It felt like traveling back in time to another era. There are no cars on the old cobblestones and there are no shops in the narrow streets between the stone houses. Inside the castle walls from the 14th century you are in a different world.

And ... this mixture of like-minded society, tranquility, creativity, nature and hiking has enriched me in a lasting way.

Thank you Diana for your various suggestions and for sharing your enormous knowledge about plants, animals, culture and the history of Andalusia. Every day you took us to a different part of your 'nature studio'. Whether with water, sand, stones and shells on the reservoir or with cork bark, seeds, twigs and moss, unique creations were created. The floating LandArt objects were my personal highlight - rounded off with the evening sunset event.

You move very carefully and almost devoutly through nature. With your mindfulness you have sensitized the perception of my actions.

The LandArt week was a complete escape from everyday life for me. It was an immersion in your natural paradise around Castellar ... and a journey of discovery to my previously unknown LandArt creativity - thanks to your suggestions.

LandArt Week in Castellar in September 2017

Dear Diana,

Although our trip has only been over a week, I already miss the vastness of the landscape and the silence that I felt while building the LandArt. As already mentioned when saying goodbye, the creative work in nature and the touching of natural materials gave me a lot more than I would have expected before starting the trip. I felt an inner calm and felt myself in my "pure form". It really appealed to me that we were out and about in the group, laughed a lot, had inspiring conversations, had a delicious picnic and not to forget our professional exchange during the "vernissages". But also that we could choose our piece of nature to build the land, retreat and only enjoy the twittering of birds there. As a result, I had a deep experience of nature, perceived more consciously and was completely in the here and now. The fact that you came to see us while we were building gave me the security that I would not get lost.

For me, our trip was the perfect combination of a group trip with a lot of individuality. I still feel very much now  inspired and decided to indulge myself in the luxury of designing Landart more often at home. But I hope that I can start a trip with you and your great topics again soon.

In gratitude, your Steffanie.

LandArt Week in Castellar, Easter 2019

Dear Diana,

a great week, with you as a Landart tour guide, I can imagine very well repeating something like that again or continuing in some form (New Year's Eve?).

It was fun to immerse yourself in your lifestyle besides the country style ...

Compliments also for how you can "rock" difficult guests.

Have a nice trip with lovely people - hopefully again soon.

Kind regards Claudia

LandArt Week in Castellar, September 2018

Dear Diana,

you led the group very well. Your knowledge shared with us, the daily tasks set up in a pedagogically sensible way and you also took care of individual issues.

Thank you very much for that!

I felt very comfortable and learned to love Andalusia.

Heike

LandArt Week in Castellar, Easter 2019

Diana: You have a lot of knowledge about LandArt and flora & fauna, that's great. You led clearly and still left a lot of freedom, which I enjoyed. It is a wonderful, very inspiring area, you showed us wonderful places, a real power place here!

Thanks for everything, I felt very well taken care of with you.

Barbara
